The Stranger

The Stranger

That moment when you walked up to me
I felt the tremors in my knees
I did not know if I could speak
Or if my voice would be strong or weak.
I felt the flutter in my heart
Hoping that we might never part.
You held out your hand to me
As you dropped to bended knee.
In that moment I knew our fates were sealed.
