Labyrinth of Miracles

Finished my first pair of mittens in five years.  They will go into the donation box.  I am sure that some young girl will be happy to get them.  They are small and I am not sure they will fit and adult.  But whoever gets them should be happy with them.  I am considering joining a mitten mystery knit-a-long.  It has already started but they are only on clue two and I am sure I can catch up, also, it looks like they are only making one mitten at a time.  At least by starting out behind I have an idea of what the pattern is looking like and maybe pick different yarn colors.  Since I am trying to work from my stash I don't always have a good selection of colors to work with.  But I will make what I have work for this project. It has been another cold day here.  The last I looked it was still -6 degrees outside. Glad I don't have to go anywhere.  Karyn even made and delivered my dinner!  Beef and broccoli over rice it...

It has been bitter cold here down in negative numbers at night and staying in the single digits during the day.  So glad I do not have to go anywhere!  I have plenty of groceries and yarn for my knitting projects.  I only need three more hats to complete my 52 for this year.  I have three more to be released over the next three weeks in my knit a-long.  So I decided to work on some mittens which will also go to Love, Inc for those in need.  I expect I will join the 52 hats group again next year.  I have joined the 12 Hats of Christmas knit-a-long for the past 10 years.  I donate all my hats to the shelter so I know they go to people in need and they are not required to pay for them.  This year I am including some knitted toys and some knitted dishcloths.  I need to do something with them and this is a good place for them to go.  I am sure someone will enjoy them. November 25, 2022 Friday after Thanksgiving.  I did not hear from any of my sisters and for once I did not contact them to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving.  I am tired of being the one to initiate contact between us and I am giving up on trying to sta y connected.  If they want to connect with me, they know how to contact me.  It is sad we are not connected to one another, but I am sure the most intimate reason is politics!  What a sad reason to talking to one another.  I am the odd man out with my politics, and I vehemently disagree with theirs.  I can't agree to follow a man who doesn't know the difference between the truth from a lie, one who thinks he is a king or a God to be followed no matter what.  A man who has been very divisive in his policies and done his best to divide the country by ethnicity and political party.  he constantly pitted one party against the other and blamed the people on the other side for everything.  He cour...
